the times are changing and so does sale: I can remember times, when sale was only two times during the year: winter sale bfore spring and summer sale before autumn. Nowadays SALE seems to be quite continously – we have mid-season sale and, for some reason, much more seasons 😉
One aspect about this which changed from my perspective is following: When sale was only few times of the year, it was great to look forward to sale and go shopping during these weeks. Today this seems hardly possible because sale became some kind of routine so it is nothing I can really look forward to. WheneverI go shopping, there is sale. All time of the year in nearly every shop I go.
Anyway, during the last days I found some pieces I’d love to show you and tell you more about:
For several years I was looking for the perfect pair of two-colored leather boots: mostly black with tan at the upper end. Whenever I found a pair I tried them on, but for some reason every pair failed. Some time ago I found this pair by COX at Goertz. After they arrived I tried them on and found them quite tight round the calves (but as it is natural leather, it will stretch, so this is something I can deal with). But after looking into the mirror, I finally found the reason why most similar ones failed in the past: contrary to former oned these are not mainly black but dark brown, so the transition between th etwo colors is not that strong than with black.
The second piece I already showed you in my last outfit post: my taupe quilted jacket from Mango, which was just love at second sight. Okay, what I was looking for was a light brown jacket – maybe quilted – for spring and autumn season. I found this one at Mango and after it arrived several days later I was some kind of disappointed because of the color. As teh fit was perfect I struggled if I should keep it or not. But when I went int daylight on my balcony I found that the volor was even better than what I was looking for: It reverald to be something between taupe and light brown, a color which can be combined to almost everything so I decided t keep it. And love it.
What do you think about these pieces? What did you find during teh actual sale?
Tell me, I’m always curious.
