now that Men’s fashion weeks are over, it is time for a personal summary. I must confess that until now I could not review all looks from all shows, so I have to deal with the ones I’ve already watched. Contrary to last year I will not concentrate on one fashion week, but start some kind of series discussing interesting pieces of various shows.
Of course every designer means every outfit to be worn like on the runway, but for me personal style means mixing various pieces from various collections to built up an outfit representing the individual personality.
This first post of the series is about the boots. Okay, most pants showed a very loose cut, but there are still singular designers showing tall boots. One of them was Richard James in London:
For me these boots fit perfectly into this “rural” style, which I could absolutely imagine to wear for several occasions.
Andrea Incontri shows a completely different style. His pairing of tall, elegant boots paired with loose fit tops and pants is really astonishing. Too bad this is nothing that will make it’s way to the street :-(.
At last Julius integrated tall boots into his monochromatic collection, which remembered me of former collections from Rad Hourani and other designers. To me this is something very fashion-forward with some kind of unisex appearance.
What’s your opinion about these looks? Tell me – I’m really curious.
Stay tuned until the next post and until then –
Have a wonderful time!
