I hove everyone of you had a great weekend so far.
Did I ever post that my shopping diet was over? No? Okay, Herewith it is done (I did it for just three moths). Since then I removed and also added some new pieces and two of them you might have already seen: my black Aigle rubber boots and my white sweater from Jack & Jones.
We’re still having summer so I’d like to start with this blue floral print shirt from Firetrap which I found at Yoox. Maybe you remember my green quilted jacket which is from the sam ebrand and – I must confess – I really love both pieces. With this shirt the cut is something different from most other shirts I own, but I don’t know how to show this on my blog 🙁 .
I think most of you remember my post about Massimo Dutti’s Equestian collection Spring 2014. When I saw them for the first time, the idea of a blue casual blazer came to my mind instantly. Not only to mix it with some bots, but also with some bright pants or something else. Some days later I found this blazer at ZARA, which is quite similar to the one from Massimo Dutti. And after a look at Wikipedia this is not longer surprising as both brands belong to the same company.
Some time ago I told you that there has to be something special in pieces I like. While I was shopping for a plain white sweater I surprisingly found this one by Jack&Jones with it’s structured stripes, the longer cut and the deep collar. Since I found my black double-layer-shirt by Givenchy some years ago I love these longer tops – you know with cardigans it’s the same for me.
Because sleeveless sweaters are something really hard to find in my size and style, I did not think a lot when I found this one also at Yoox. The grey colour is really versatile and easy to mix with shirts.
If there are pieces in your closet which can be worn the full year round, jeans are one of the first pieces which come to mind. Some days ago I visited the webshop of Cheap Monday just for some inspiration and finally bought these two jeans: the first one is called unwashed black and comes in a kind of anthracite colour, the second one is called coated plum. For me this is a great way to add some warm colour to an outfit.
The last piece of today’s post is just some kind of replacement. Okay, some of you might ask why I’m shopping for a winter coat during summer, especially just before the pieces for the new season arrive? The answer is quite simple: If you prefer style instead of trends, you look for more timeless pieces. And sometimes the remaining pieces from last season are even cheaper than during sale. So, when I found this coat by Lorenzo Mancini at Yoox, I instantly decided to give it a try. And after I tried it on for the first time I kept it as it is really warm and comfy.
I hope you like these pieces and I am really curious about your opinion.
Enjoy your Sunday and have a wonderful time!
