I hope all of you could enjoy last weekend. I took the chance for a short Trip to Tannheim in Austria, a small village just about 120 km from where I live. When I drove there on Friday it was really annoying because I needed about three hours for the way because of the tourists.
As it was raining on Saturday I decided to visit some towns around Tannheim and one of them was Füssen. I don’t think you ever heard about this town but I am absolutely sure you know the famous building in the neighbourhood: Neuschwanstein built by Ludwig 2nd.
Below the Castle there is St. Mang’s church where the oldest Fresco’s in Germany can be seen In my opinion it is quite uncommon to find a dragon in a catholic church. When I walked back from the hill there was a small “concert” of people playing alphorns …
To summarize – although it was raining most of the time I really had a great day visiting this beautiful town.Maybe you will also have the chance to visit this beautiful town and – maybe also Neuschwanstein.
